Since Villa Mahana opened in 2004 it has earned the reputation of being the best and most romantic restaurant in Bora Bora. This is a place where couples visiting from all over the world testify to having the grandest dining moment of their vacation if not their lives; a place of culinary and cultural fusion driven by love and passion, where even the most critical and experienced gourmet diners have been taken by surprise, some even calling it the French Laundry of French Polynesia!

The founder of Bora Bora's gastronomic gem is Damien Rinaldi-Dovio, a french native eager to discover the wonders of this world and it’s cultures thru travels. His parcours in the culinary arts began in France with the teachings of world renown Chef Paul Bocuse, continued across the Atlantic to the finest tables of L.A, then crossed over to the south Pacific to come flourish in the most exotic seascape of a Tahitian paradise.

Happily married to his lovely Tahitian wife Vaihere and father to a beautiful daughter, Damien has spent the last 12 years both as a family man immersed in the Polynesian culture and as Chef sharing his gourmet expertise with the world. His cuisine is rooted in classic French gastronomy yet multi cultural, blending french tradition with Polynesian savors while keeping at it’s core the quality, freshness & respect for the products. Chef Damien's signature is the Epicurean Menu, an unforgettable 5 course dinner with matching Champagne & Wine. Guests are served by a most friendly staff including Damien's wife; the ambiance is warm, comfortable and oh so romantic!

Villa Mahana is a love affair between a talented Chef and his passions, between cultures that respect and embrace one another, between people who come there to share a life moment and experience an ultimate journey of palatal delight in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It is an "adresse incontournable", the inevitable table while visiting Bora Bora.

The restaurant has recently relocated above Matira beach and is now open for lunch as well as dinner.

La Villa Mahana has a standard a la carte menu where you can order your appetizers, entrees, dessert, etc. separately.
Chef Damien also offers a special Prix Fixee 5 course chef's tasting menu with matching wine and champagne pairings, called the 'Menu Epicurien'.

This Epicurean Menu costs ~$480 per couple if you select it at the restaurant.
If you book and prepay for it in advance, Chef Damien extends Pacific For Less clients a $100 discount.
